Client: Variety Netflix CEO Reed Hastings is moving Netflix into Europe. Full page illustration for Variety Magazine. They wanted to depict Hastings as a Napoleon like figure. I can’t claim very much credit for this because David already worked his compositional genius on the original painting. Factoid: Napoleon actually crossed the Alps on a donkey but asked David to hook him up a little.
